Vancouver, BC – An exclusive new video published to YouTube on December 18, 2014, explores the lives and visions shared by Vancouver attendees at a local Evolver Network event. Experimental media, harm reduction, cacao shamanism, local currencies, permaculture and visual arts are just some of the topics covered by five women from diverse backgrounds who shared hot chocolate and conversation in a Strathcona community loft during Wednesday evening’s December social.
Evolver offers a global network for conscious social collaboration by progressives (Evolvers) described as hope fiends, ecological activists and utopian pragmatists. Co-founded by author Daniel Pinchbeck, Evolver Network is the nonprofit side of what has become known as the Evolver Social Movement encompassing Evolver.net conscious consumer ecommerce, the Learning Lab featuring online interactive webinars and the online magazine Reality Sandwich focused on transformational culture.
Evolver Spore are monthly regional theme-focused events that explore topics including the Unified Field, 2012, Intentional Communities, the Mystery of Dreams, Transforming Politics, Psychedelic Renaissance, Consciousness & Climate Change, Thought for Food, Synchronicity/Magic, Exopolitics, the Healing Journey, Resiliency and Alternative Energy. Local Spore events offer scope for creative exploration and collaborative sharing of results between regions.
The Evolver movement cites the following amongst its core values:
- Love of nature and deep caring about its preservation, and its natural balance
- Strong awareness of the planet-wide issues of sustainability and a desire to see more action on them
- Belief that change is the constant
- Thinking global acting local
- Investing time as volunteers with one or more good social causes
- Wellness of mind, body, and spirit are high priority pursuits
- Optimistic about the future
- Concern and support of the wellbeing of all women and children
- Love and respect for the animal kingdom
- Design science, innovation in technology and artisanship are desirable
